Breaking News :: As of April 22nd Align ends minimum Invisalign case requirement.
Align Technology today rescinded the Invisalign product proficiency requirements it launched in June. Effective
immediately, dentists will no longer be required to start a minimum of 10 shipped cases per year to maintain
their active provider status.
Participating dentists are still required to complete a minimum of 10 Invisalign continuing education hours per
year. CDA — along with several other professional associations, including the ADA — had voiced its concern
about the new requirements through direct communication with Align. Read more on Align’s decision in the
upcoming May Update.
MPDS Dental Health Foundation meeting on March 12th: A wonderful time was had by all who attended the
Foundation meeting on March 12th with speaker Bernie Stoltz. I want to say thank you to all that attended, this
was an excellent opportunity to give to the self funded program by the Dental Society. I would like to personally
thank every member who has sent in a contribution through your membership dues statement towards the
Foundation. We continue to grow our funds to help the disadvantaged members of our community.We are
always in need of new providers so please call the society office for more information. It is an excellent
opportunity to help the needy. Our dedicated providers and contributors are as follows:
